Cookies and storage
Last updated:
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no scripts, fonts or images from other companies. Because nothing here is optional, there is no cookie banner to accept.
This site
Reading the pages stores nothing on your device. If you take the quiz, your answers are kept in your browser's session storage so that a refresh does not lose your place. They stay on your device, are never sent to us, and disappear when you close the tab.
Our host's servers may keep short-lived request logs (a network address and the page asked for) to keep the site running and secure.
Drafting note: Confirm what the hosting provider logs, for how long, and add it to the processors list.
The app
The app has its own address, and we keep a few things on your device so it works. All are first-party, set by us, and strictly necessary, so they need no consent. Nothing in the app is set by another company.
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Your session | Keeps you signed in on this device | Until you sign out or clear it |
| Your age confirmation | Remembers you confirmed you are 18 or older | Until you clear it |
| A copy of your theme colours | Shows your colours before the page finishes loading | Until you clear it |
| Whether someone was signed in here | Lets the app open offline | Until you sign out |
| Install reminder | Remembers you dismissed the prompt, so we do not nag | A few weeks |
Clearing it
You can clear storage for any site in your browser's settings. Clearing the app's storage signs you out. See the privacy notice for how we handle your data and your rights over it.
